Disabling expanded "

Hi,

I need to write "Naive" with umlaut on top of the letter i. But when I
use \"{\i} sequence, TeXnic Center expanded the single quote with ``.

How can I disable this auto-expand feature?

TXC 'Tools -> Options...'
Then in 'General' you have 'Automatic replacement'. You must deactivate
;) 'Replace quotation marks'.
