Hi Qinjun and Tino
I had similar problem and I still do. With MikTex 2.4, It was perfect after intalling some fonts. With the ver 2.5, I forget how I got those fonts, hence bacck to sqr 1.
However, you can overcome this problem by basically doing the ff:
1. Open Yap, go to its options, go on the display tab
2. In the Default render method, change Pk fonts to Dvips
In my case, I notice it does not matter whether you use TeXnicCenter (auto-detected) or follow the suggestion given by Tino below; I use window XP.
Good luck.

Well, it works on my computer. However.
Open Yap, go to its options, go on the inverse
search tab and create a
new editor
Programm: %YOUR_PATH_TO_TXC%\TEXCNTR.EXE
Arguments: /ddecmd "[goto('%f', '%l')]"
Post by Qinjun KangIn addition, if I
include an eps figure, use LaTex => DVI profile to
compile and view output using Yap, I get the
following

Yes No

A problem of YAP, not of TXC. Simply change the
default rendering mode
in YAPs options.
Ciao.Tino.
