I wonder why does it seems to be such a low
traffic of messages in my mail box, yahoogroups

Because there are only a few, less sophisticated places for LaTeX users to meet at in the internet, the new site LaTeX-Community. org has been created at

http://www.latex- community. org/

This site runs a community platform providing a great base for public and private discussion about everything related to LaTeX, including
the different TeX distributions, special LaTeX packages and the several available LaTeX editors including TeXnicCenter.

Everyone is invited to read and search the discussions. Out of security reasons, users who want to post to the forums need to register. The registration process takes only a few seconds and does not cost anything.

LaTeX-Community. org is provided to you for free by Sven Wiegand -- the founder of TeXnicCenter. The community platform runs on a dedicated web server to provide excellent performance. Server cost is (hopefully) financed by google advertisement ;-)

Go ahead and be the first one to post at LaTeX-Community. org!

Very Important notice for Users of this Mailing List: LaTeX-Community. org does also contain a TeXnicCenter section spread up into several sub forums. Because this new platform is much more sophisticated and provides a better performance than this simple mailing list, the TeXnicCenter section of LaTeX-Community. org becomes the official TeXnicCenter community with immediate effect and will replace this mailing list in the near future.

All users of this mailing list are strongly encouraged to change to LaTeX-Community. org! Registration will take a few seconds only and is completely for free!
