Hi,

Could anyone recommend me a package which is able to produce nice
tables and also has a manual? I want tables with captions above, and
also to make notes with formulae.
Thanks very much.
Regards,
Szabolcs Sebestyén

Hi,

for nice tables (with all things You want to realise) have a look on the
ctable-package:

Hope this helps!

You could try the option `fleqn' in the class, and then use
\setlength{\mathindent}{20pt} or whatever to change the math indent.

Have you tried a negative space? e.g. \hspace{-25pt}

Dear Users,
Is there any way to set in TexnicCenter the compilation to the pdf file
without the need of closing the pdf file.
I'd like texniccenter close automatically the pdf file and open it after
compilation in the same place as before.
This is the way winedt works (http://www.winedt.com/)

Please help
Sebastian

There are a lot of packages available. See
ftp://ftp.dante.de/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/bytopic.html#tables

Typically, every package is documented. You only have to find the manual
somewhere in your texmf\doc\latex path.

For the position of the captions simply use the topcapt package. See
http://www.tex.ac.uk/cgi-bin/texfaq2html?label=destable
