Using LaTeX - TexNicCenter 1 Beta 7.01. After build files and try to
view output (F5), with setting Latex=>PDF, get error 'Cannot execute
the command'. I can view outputs with the other settings,
Latex=>DVI,Latex=>PS. What could cause this?

Hello,

As a first solution, try to open Adobe Reader and from there go to the
directory to open the
produced file .pdf.

If it works, then the problem is in the profile definition in TeXnicCenter.

Regards,

Alain Delmotte

My profile is for the viewer: (I am still using MikTeX 2.4)
Path to executable: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
View's project output :
DDE command on
command = [DocOpen("%bm.pdf")][FileOpen("%bm.pdf")]
server= acroview topic= control
Forward search:
DDE command on
[DocOpen("%bm.pdf")][FileOpen("%bm.pdf")]
server= acroview topic= control
Close document before running LaTeX
DDE command on
[DocClose("%bm.pdf")]
server= acroview topic= control

Try using capital first letters for the placeholders, e.g. Wm.pdf instead
of wm.pdf. this converts paths from using the backslash to forward slash,
and worked for me.
