Discussion:
Install fonts?

Hello,
I am trying to write in Greek, using the commands:

\usepackage{amsmath,amsfonts,amsthm}
\usepackage[english,greek]{babel}
\usepackage[iso-8859-7]{inputenc}

Once I compile the text, everything works fine in the
pdf output. My problem is that Texnic doesn't
recognise the greek fonts, so basically I cannot see
what I am writing, in Texnic Center. Is there a way to
install greek fonts (and maybe a dictionary as well)?
Thanks in advance,

Alexandros

I don't think TexnicCenter can do that. You will need to find another editor.

Martin.

Certainly, if texniccenter is unicode-compliant it should be able to,
but would require the system to have the relevant unicode mappings/fonts
installed, and accessible by whatever GUI widgets texniccenter uses. For
a dictionary, openoffice have a huge range of dictionaries in the
relevant format.

But Texniccenter is not unicode-compliant.
