lost navigator pane

Hi Group,

i've lost the navigator pane which is usally shown on the left side of
the window.

i moved it with the mouse (drag 'n drop) out of the window, and after
this move it disapeared. even a click on the navigator pane icon to
show/hide the pane doesn't change anything.... it's still gone away :o(

I hope someone can give me a hint to reactivate the navigator pane.
